We had read of sneak thieves stealing tourist luggage from trains so were concerned at the thought of sitting at one end of a train carriage with our rucksacks on a storage rack at the other end.
Consequently we took a security strap that we could loop through our rucksacks and secure to the rack.
In actual fact we never had to use the strap.
It was comforting to know it was available if needed though.
