Tour du Mont Blanc Map
It goes without saying that when you're hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc you should take a map.
We found Carte De Randonées 1:50,000 Pays Du Mont-Blanc to be ideal.
It shows the whole of the Tour du Mont Blanc on a single map and marks the route itself. It also marks other walking routes such as GR5. We traced over the TMB route with a highlighting pen to make it easier to follow and then waterproofed the whole map.
The map is French so it is unlikely to be stocked in high street bookshops. We obtained ours mail order from mapsworldwide.com . They provided us with a prompt and friendly service and we would not hesitate to recommend them.
If you'd prefer to walk with 1:25,000 maps then you will need two, namely IGN 3531ET and 3630OT.
